What is the difference between natural stone and synthetic stone?
Natural stone is a material extracted as it is, with its natural irregularities and constraints.
Synthetic stone is an industrially manufactured composite material offering a uniform surface that is more stable, more resistant, and easier to maintain.
Are Crealith products suitable for high-traffic areas?
Yes. Our products are designed for demanding environments such as hotels, healthcare facilities, and assisted living facilities. They combine strength, durability, and ease of maintenance.
How should synthetic stone be maintained on a daily basis?
Simple cleaning with warm water and mild soap is sufficient. A non-abrasive cloth is recommended to preserve the surface.
What should be done in the event of a stubborn stain?
Use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner suitable for composite surfaces. Avoid harsh products. If in doubt, contact us for advice.
Can scratches or chips be repaired?
Yes. Synthetic stone allows for surface repairs. Depending on the extent of the damage, a local repair may be sufficient to restore the original appearance.
Is the surface resistant to chemicals?
Our surfaces are designed to withstand normal daily use. However, highly aggressive products (strong acids, powerful solvents) should be avoided.
Who can perform surface repairs?
Minor repairs can be carried out by a trained professional. For more extensive repairs, we recommend contacting Crealith or an authorized partner.
Why should certain products be avoided even if they clean well?
Some very powerful products can damage the finish or reduce the lifespan of the surface. Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and aesthetic quality of the product.
Am I free to choose the colors?
Yes. Crealith offers a wide range of colors and can also accommodate specific requests depending on the project and volume.
What is the difference between a ceramic and a synthetic stone basin?
Ceramic is a hard material but more fragile when subjected to impact.
Synthetic stone offers greater impact resistance, a more contemporary finish, and the possibility of custom shapes and sizes.
